A comprehensive movie review platform with advanced authentication and role-based access control.
This is a comprehensive movie review and rating platform built with the MERN stack. The application features advanced authentication mechanisms and granular role-based access control, allowing different user roles to interact with the platform appropriately. I integrated responsive design principles throughout the application and implemented real-time rating updates with dynamic user interface enhancements to provide a superior user experience. The admin panel provides complete control over movie content, reviews, and user management.
Challenges.
The main challenges included implementing advanced authentication with granular role-based access control, ensuring real-time rating updates across the application, and creating a responsive design that works seamlessly across all devices.
Solutions.
I implemented JWT-based authentication with role-based access control to manage different user permissions effectively. Real-time rating updates were achieved through efficient state management and API integration. Tailwind CSS was used to create a fully responsive design, and RESTful APIs ensured smooth communication between frontend and backend components.
